Nick got into freestyle while researching a school project on hacky sack for his team sports class. Like so many of us, he found footbag.org, and "nearly fell over" when he saw video of Vasek. Upon finishing viewing of the video, Nick also came to the crossroads that so many other freestylers have been confronted with; run screaming from the room and never play hack again, or buckle down and make a go of it. Luckly, he chose to step up and school his ass off, and now it shows. Nick may be freestyle in it's purest form, all heart, dedication, talent, and focus. With the advantage of being incredibly double jointed, this kid is headed straight to the top, and stands to inherit the freestyle throne of Portland in the not too distant future.
